all the staff was really helpful and respectful, fixed my issues. the room was modern and newly renovated with a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and air conditioning. a huge variety of food for breakfast, which was good to satisfy everyone. the location of the hotel was unbeatable and peaceful, near main reef.

Absolutely mind-blowing service! The hotel went above and beyond for us, even after I made a flight mistake. They didn't charge us extra and arranged a cheap airport transfer. The view from the penthouse was jaw-dropping, and the location was super convenient. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. We loved having bars, restaurants, and shops right at our doorstep. The staff, especially Agith, were lovely and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to recommend this place to friends and come back ourselves!

I recently stayed at the Mountain Wave Hotel in Hikkaduwa for a week-long surf trip. The location was perfect, right on the beach with easy access to the main surf spots. The rooms were bright, clean, and spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The surf shop had a great selection of advanced boards and the option to book surf lessons in advance. it was the best spot in town with unbeatable views and excellent service.

You'll have easy access to all the activities Hikkaduwa has to offer. the rooms are spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure. the friendly family who runs the hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, even arranging transportation and accommodating late check, outs. Plus, the on, site cafe serves delicious food to satisfy your breakfast cravings.

The room we stayed in at Mountain Wave Hotel and Surfshop was amazing! It had a private bathroom with a shower, and they even provided free toiletries. The city view from our room was breathtaking. The air conditioning kept us cool, and the desk was perfect for our work needs. The seating area was cozy and the balcony had a stunning sea view. We also liked the tile/marble floor and private entrance in the double room.

As a personal preference, I wasn't a huge fan of the safety deposit box in certain units. But I understand that some guests might find it useful.
